Our client services manager will gather information regarding activities your loved one needs help with, preferred schedule, and more. A search for a great caregiver(s) match begins.
In-Home Assessment
A registered nurse manager visits to perform a comprehensive in-home assessment to develop a customized plan of care.
Paperwork and Billing
No matter your payment method, we’ll work with you to simplify the process. For long-term care insurance payments, we’ll check your benefits so you know your coverage, take care of the paperwork, and handle the billing.
Your Caregiving Team
You’ll meet your loved one’s caregiving team that has been carefully selected to be the best fit for his/her needs, personality, and schedule.

What is Home Health Care?

The term “home health care” describes a wide range of health care services that can be provided in your home. BAYADA offers a full-range of services, including personal care and companionship, which provides assistance with activities of daily living.

Does Medicare cover personal care services?

Medicare does not cover long-term personal care (also known as custodial services). Medicare pays for short-term home health care services as prescribed by a physician to help with rehabilitation after illness, injury, hospital stay or surgery, or to help manage a chronic medical condition.

How are personal care services paid?

Personal care and companionship services are typically paid privately. Alternate payment methods include either long-term care insurance, Medicaid, Workers’ compensation, or Veterans’ benefits. BAYADA eases the process of paying for home care services by managing your paperwork and coordinating with your insurers to determine levels of coverage. If you are paying privately, we will coordinate to directly set up ACH or credit card payments.

How do you ensure I receive excellent care?

Your care is the result of a deep, companywide commitment to meeting the highest professional, ethical, and safety standards. Every BAYADA home health care professional is supervised by a registered nurse (RN) manager and receives initial and ongoing training to ensure consistent, high-quality care. We also voluntarily submit to rigorous quality and safety reviews by Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP).

Are you available 24/7?

Yes! We can provide services up to 24 hours a day (as well as live-in care) and there is always ‘round-the-clock clinical support to answer your questions and address any concerns after hours.

BAYADA seeks caregivers who share our passion for helping others. We employ rigorous hiring standards: verify work history, credentials, and references and perform thorough background checks. Our health care professionals also undergo an in-depth interview process, written testing, and hands-on skills assessments before hire, and annual skills assessments with ongoing training and supervision after hire.
